摘　　要：西南大学开展的中国版"名著选读计划"是以赫钦斯为代表的永恒主义教育哲学观在现实教育中的具体反映。名著因其历久弥新、广泛认同、思想深邃、影响深远等特点而具有超越时空的永恒价值,其核心价值在于促进学生的理智发展和良好品行的养成。为此,学校需要制定合理的制度,教师需要发挥"适度的"引导作用,学生则必须持有自我负责态度,只有三方通力合作才能将名著阅读计划进行到底。Recently, Southwest University has implemented the Chinese version of Great Books Plan, which can be traced back to perennialism education philosophy represented by Hutchins. The value of Great Books can transcend time and space with its enduring freshness, wide recognition, enlightening ideas and profound influence. Its core value lies in promoting the intellectual development and the formation of good characters of students. Therefore, universities need to establish reasonable system, and teachers must play a role of moderate guide, while students should hold the attitude of self-responsibility. Only by making the three parties work together, can Great Books Plan be carried through to the end.
