摘  要:目的:检测人β防御素(humanβdefensin,hBD)2mRNA在牙龈增生病人和正常人的牙龈上皮细胞中的表达,分析hBD-2mRNA在牙龈组织天然免疫中的作用。方法:应用逆转录一聚合酶链反应技术(reverse tran-scriptase-polymerase chain reaction,RT-PCR)检测12例牙龈增生病人和10例正常牙龈上皮细胞中hBD-2mRNA的表达。结果:hBD-2mRNA在l2例牙龈增生和l0例正常对照牙龈上皮细胞中均有表达,且两组间差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:牙龈上皮细胞中hBD-2在天然免疫中发挥重要作用,hBD-2的表达增加可能与牙龈增生中的细胞因子有关。Objective: To examine the expression of human β-defensin-2(hBD-2) in gingival epithelial cell of normal subjects and patients with gingival hyperplasia,and to investigate the role of β-defensin 2 in the innate immunity.Methods: Gingival tissues were obtained from 10 normal subjects and from 12 patients undergoing surgery for gingival hyperplasia.Isolated epithelial cells were used for total RNA isolation by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction RT-PCR).Results: β-defensin-2 mRNA was detected in the gingival epithelium of patients with gingival hyperplasia normal gingival tissue.Its expression level was significantly higher in diseased epithelium than in normal turbinate epithelium(P0.05).Conclusion: These results suggest that beta-defensin 2 may play a constitutive role in gingival defenses.It may be induced in response to local infection or inflammation.
