摘　　要：piRNA是一类新型的非编码小分子RNA,与PIWI蛋白相互作用,称为piRNA(PIWI-interacting RNA),长度约26～32个核苷酸,其作用与Dicer酶无关。在生殖细胞的发育、转座子沉默、减数分裂和精子发生等过程中,piRNA具有多种生物学功能。文中综述了近年来禽类在piRNA方面的研究进展。piRNAs are a class of Piwi-interacting,26-32 nucleotide（nt） in length small non-coding RNAs,that,unlike other small RNAs,are generated from long genomic clusters,specific to the adult testis,and may be involved in testis development and spermatogenesis.The function of Piwi/piRNA complexes is not fully understood as of yet,but some studies point to a possible role in the epigenetic regulation of transposable elements in the germline,playing a role not with Dicer enzyme,but with combination of Piwi protein family members.The present studies of piRNA function are basically limited to the reproductive cells.This review is about the progressive study on the poultry of piRNA.
