摘　　要：强化培养学生的工程能力和创新能力是土木工程专业卓越工程师素质的核心内容。以2012江苏省结构设计竞赛为案例,介绍了建模分析、模型制作、优化设计等过程。最后总结土木工程卓越工程师素质培养要求,并分析了针对性教学的实践经验。实践表明,以研究性学习为主要驱动力,以大学生创新实践基地为平台,以多元组合化教学力量为保障,能有效地培养土木工程专业卓越工程师所需各方面才能。It was a key process to develop students’ practical and creative abilities for"Excellent Civil Engineer Training Program".A case study of the 2012 Jiangsu Undergraduate Structural Design Competition is given to show how students’ innovative spirit and practical ability are improved through this competition.The teaching practice of guiding students to take part in such competitions show that structural design competition can cultivate students talents that excellent civil engineers need effectively.
