摘　　要：记录了《新建筑》特约编辑对中国工程院院士王小东先生的一次访谈。王先生就当前的建筑文化现象、地域建筑及其创作的认识等表达了自己的观点。针对目前西部地区乃至全国城市建设发展中的一些问题,指出当代建筑师所面临的普遍困境,并阐述了个人的应对之策。This paper records the interview with Mr. Wang Xiaodong, member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, by the contributing editor of the New Architecture journal. In the interview, Mr. Wang Xiaodong expressed his personal views on current phenomena of architectural culture and recognition of the regional architecture and its design. Against some problems in current urban construction and development in western China and even in the whole country, Mr. Wang Xiaodong discussed the general dilemma faced by contemporary architects and analyzed some possible solutions in his own opinion.
