论“知”视阈下荀子圣人人格三境界

摘  要:荀子以知为理想人格的内在品质,体现了儒家理想人格理论的共同特征,在这方面,孔孟荀确实一脉相承。荀子追求理想人格的行本身已蕴涵着知的实践,而知、仁、勇的合一作为理想人格挺立的标志是渗透了知识对勇的指导,在个体的习俗践履、环境教化中理解、把握礼仪规范而形成自己的人格典范,而学的本质在于积善全尽的实现'全、粹、美'的圣人人格境界中把社会伦理风俗转化为对自身德性的造诣。荀子在追求大—圣—神的理想圣人人格中逐情化欲,把理想与现实、历史与现代以知而实现超越与贯通。Xunzi treats knowledge as the intrinsic quality of the ideal personality,which embodies the common characteristics of the Confucian ideal personality theory. In this aspect,Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi actually stay in one continuous line. Xunzi's pursuit of ideal personality contains the practice of knowledge. The combination of knowledge,love,courage,as the symbol of ideal personality,infiltrates knowledge's guide for courage and forms individual personality code during the comprehension and grasp of personal experience and etiquette. The essence of learning is to comprehensively accumulate ' full, pure,beautiful' implementation,transforming social ethics and customs into their own moral attainments under Saint Personality realm. Xunzi renders Saint ' Knowledge through the avenue' obviously and abstractly,but there implies ideal reality from Saintly Personality realm. The avenue exists in the understanding of etiquette to overcome the human innate evil qualities,or nature to the evil trend. In pursuit of ideal of ' Great-Holy-God' and Saint's personality,there should be an achievement of transcendence and digestion between idea and reality,history and modern.
