摘  要:汉语在情态动词句法方面的规则化程度不高,尤其是在推测型认识情态与非推测型根情态的句法区分方面体现出了规则上的诸多不一致。语法项目规则化程度低容易导致规则泛化之类的偏误,增加了习得难度。文章通过时体成分位置和否定词位置等方面的语法分析体现出两类情态在句法区分规则上的横向不一致性和纵向不一致性,并结合标记性理论对其标记性进行相应分析。Remarkable inconsistency can be found among the syntactic distinguishing rules for root and epistemic modality, which reveals some irregularity in terms of Chinese modal grammar. Irregu- larity in syntax may result in errors of overgeneralization. A syntactical analysis of the position of time/aspect particles and negative particles in modal sentences reveals inconsistency both cross-sec- tionally and longitudinally, which means that there is no consistent syntactic rule for differentiating the two kinds of modality. Marked with exceptions and irregularities, the distinguishing rules are ana- lyzed from the perspective of the Markedness Theory to account for difficulties in modal acquisition.
