摘　　要：当代大学生作为国家建设和发展的最新驱动力,不仅担任着国家社会发展的重任,还要为国家保持在国际竞争中的地位提供原动力,所以,就要提高大学生爱国主义教育实效,提高他们对现代社会发展和国内外形势的认识与意识,使他们成为具有时代性的综合性人才,只有这样,才能够在经济全球化的世界背景下,保证我国发展能够在世界竞争中立于不败之地。With the development of economic globalization,we can view patriotism education in a broader perspective,and patriotism education also plays an important role in the progress of college students and our country.So the fundamental improvement of patriotism education has become one of the focuses in educators and community.Contemporary college students who is the new driving force for the national construction and development should take on tremendous responsibility of national development and provide a necessary spring of maintaining the national status in international competition.Therefore we should improve the efficacy of patriotism education for college students who will be epochal and compound talents and understanding of development in modern society.Only in this way can we make our country remaining invincible in international competition under the background of economic globalization.
