摘 要:目的应用功能磁共振成像(fMRI)研究接受过和未接受过珠心算训练的儿童,在进行加法和乘法时额顶叶激活区的差别,初步分析珠心算在儿童脑开发中的作用。方法分别对24名接受过3年珠心算训练和12名未接受珠心算训练的儿童,在加、乘计算和数物对照判断实验时进行BOLD—fMRl,应用SPM2软件对原始图像进行数据处理,获取执行不同任务的脑功能图。结果训练组的正确率均明显高于未训练组,平均反应时均短于未训练组。珠心算组与未训练组在进行计算时额顶叶的激活区有明显的不同,珠心算组比未训练组在前额叶的激活脑区明显减少(P<0.05),而且顶叶的激活主要在顶上小叶后部/楔前叶,未训练组主要在顶下小叶。结论珠心算涉及多个脑功能区。各功能区可能在整体配合下完成任务,增强了特定脑区对信息的加工能力,有效提高脑区的利用效率,在儿童脑开发中起了重要的作用。Objective To investigate the difference in front--parietal activation between the trained and untrainedchildren engaged in addition and multiplication with funcdonal magnetic resonance imaging (fMR1),and to explore the role ofabacus mental calculation in brain development.Methods Twenty--four children trained with abacus mental calculation andtwelve untrained children performed mental calcula- tion tasks including addition,multiplication and number--object controljudging tasks.Blood oxygenation level dependence (BOLD)fMR1 was performed when they were calculatin9.All data wereanalyzed by SPM2 (statistical parametric mappin92)to generate the brain activation map. Results The performance of thetrained group had better CO1Tecmess and shorter reaction time than that of the untrained group.The front-- parietal activationbetween two groups had obvious difference.The activation involved less prefrontal codex in the trained group than in theun- trained group (P〈0.05).The parietal activation in the trained group was mainly in the posterior superior parietal lobe/precuneus.whereas the activation areas focused on the inferior parietal lobule iU the untrained group.Conclusion Abacusmental calculation involves multiple func- tional areas.and these areas may WOrk together as a whole in processing arithmeticproblems.Abacus mental calculation not only enhances the information processing in some brain areas and improves theutilization efficiency of neural resources,but also plays an important role in de- veloping brain.
