摘 要:考察先秦至唐有关石刻史料和出土易学文献,可以发现:今本《周易》"坤"卦名本不作"坤",而作"顺"。"顺"卦之名自先秦至唐一直被使用,至唐中期方被"坤"完全取代。"坤"作为卦名为后起字,出现于西汉中期,至东汉末还没有被主流易学所使用,到唐中期方被普遍使用,而取代"顺"卦之名。帛书《周易》经传作为西汉初期抄本,其"川"卦之名当释为"顺"卦,而非"坤"卦。学者关于帛书《周易》"川"卦名当释为"顺"的观点是正确的。By scrutinizing the materials on the stone inscriptions from the pre-Qin times to the Tang dynasty (618-907 ) and the un- earthed documents related to Yi learning, it can be found that the name of hexagram Kun 坤 [囍, The Receptive, 2] in the received version of the Zhottyi originally was shun 顺 and it was not until the mid Tang dynasty that the latter was completely replaced by the former. Kun as the name of a hexagram came into play later and emerged in the mid Western Han dynasty ( 206 BCE - 9 CE) and e- ven till the end of the Eastem Han dynasty ( 25 - 220 ) it was not used in the main stream of the Changes circle. Till the mid Tang pe- riod, it had been ubiquitously applied and replaced character shun 顺. The character chunn 川 in the Mawangdui silk manuscript of the Zhottyi, a version of the early Western Han, should be interpreted shun 顺 rather than kun 坤. Some scholars'point of view that the hexagram name of chuan 川ought to be rendered shun 顺 is tenable.
