摘　　要：在云南由传统社会向近代工业社会转型和过渡的时期,掌握云南经济发展领导权的留学生规划了云南近代经济发展的宏伟蓝图,为云南的经济近代化指引了方向,奠定了良好的基础。在云南经济近代化进程中,留学生不仅领导和参与了云南近代的交通、通讯建设,为云南的经济近代化创造了最重要的条件,同时还以振兴锡业为发端,使云南真正进入到经济近代化的发展时期,为云南的经济近代化作出了不可磨灭的贡献。During Yunnan＇s transformation from a traditional society to a modem industrial society, the leadership of Yunnan＇s economic development, predominantly composed of the returned overseas students with foresight and sagacity, made a blueprint for guiding Yunnan＇ s economic development. In the process of Yunnan＇s economic modernization, the overseas students also made plans to build roads and railroads. They even participated in the construction of the transportation and communication facilities in this province. Meanwhile, by updating the technology of the tin industry, the overseas students led Yunnan to the stage of the ＂real economic modernization. ＂
