摘　　要：古代文人的自号是继名和字之后常用的称谓。晋宋时期产生了与名和字同时使用的自号,这与当时独特的政治、文化环境有很大的关系。自号与名和字的命名相比,少了儒家"五法"、"六规"的束缚,受佛教、道家思想影响较大。自号表现了主体性,自由地寄托了个人的志向、情感和兴趣。Besides given name and courtesy name,the art-name is most frequently addressed name of ancient Chinese literati.The custom of adopting an art-name,used simultaneously with the given name and the courtesy name,can be dated back to Jin and Song Dynasty.The origin of this custom is closely related to the unique political and cultural environment of the era.Contrary to the other two types of names,art-names are free from the constraints of ＂ Five Rules＂ and ＂ Six Taboos＂ in Confucian naming custom.Subjectively adopted by literati themselves under the influence of Taoists,the art-name is a voluntary reflection of individual tastes,interests and wishes.
