摘　　要："中和"是中国古典美学的重要范畴,也是中国传统绘画艺术的重要审美范畴。与作为西方文化精神表征的和谐美不同,中国传统绘画艺术的中和美是中国艺术家饱含生态意识的存在之思。中国传统绘画艺术对中和美的追求可以划分为四个层面:人与自我的和谐、人与社会的和谐、自然生命的和谐、人与自然的和谐。表现宇宙生命的广大和谐是艺术家追求的最高审美境界。Neutralization is an important aesthetic category in Chinese classical aesthetics,and is important in Chinese painting too.Different from the Western harmony beauty,neutralization beauty is a way of thinking filled with ecological consciousness about existence.There are four levels of neutralization beauty in Chinese traditional painting,which are the harmony between human and themselves,the harmony between human and society,the harmony of natural life,and the harmony between human and nature.Chinese artists always take the harmony of the universal life as their supreme realm.
