摘　　要：托尼·莫里森作为美国黑人文学的杰出代表,在白人文化统治的社会中刻画了很多思想最终觉悟并能够担当黑人文化传统重任的黑人形象,她为重构被奴役而抹杀了的黑人文化身份而摇旗呐喊,使其小说充满了同情、希望和力量。她的小说根植于黑人文化传统,展现了那段不容遗忘的历史。重新建构了美国黑人的文化身份是莫里森本人对美国文学最大的贡献。Toni Morrison is one of the outstanding representative figures in the field of Afro - American literature. And she depicted many black people images who can finally awake and take the responsibility for the cultural traditions of black people＇s in the society dominated by white race. Toni Morrison raised her voice to reconstruct the black people＇s cultural identity that was enslaved and obliterated. Therefore, her novels are full of sympathy, hope and power. Her novels rooted in the soil of black people＇ s cultural tradition and showed the unforgettable history. The great contribution made by Toni Mor- rison for the American literature is to reconstruct the Mm - American cultural identity.
