摘　　要：上海的道路交通安全形势较为严峻,利用信息技术进行交通安全管理成为解决问题的重要途径。信息系统需要准确和规范的事故地点记录,而现有交通事故责任认定书的事故地点文字记录,无法满足信息系统空间定位的要求。公安机关应当针对上海复杂路网的特征,完善道路交通事故地点表述方法,便于交通民警更加准确描述事故所在位置。Shanghai traffic security conditions are so stringent that the application of information technology in the traffic management is an important channel of solving the problems.The information system requires accurate and standard recordings of accident locations but such records on the traffic accident appraisal statements can not meet requirements of information system for spatial location.Targeting the characteristics of complicated roads,police agencies should perfect the verbal expression of the locations of traffic accidents so that traffic policemen can precisely describe such venues.
