摘  要:李廉方是我国现代杰出的教育家及小学语文教育家。在小学语文课程上,他主张国语与常识合科,合科途径为单元活动和自由阅读;在小学语文教材上,他认为教材决定教法,教材编写要依据学习心理,要开发儿童读物;在识字教学方面,他倡导在情境中识字,由"义"到"形"再到"音"等。他的小学语文教育思想对于我们今天开设语文综合课程、实施主体教育、改进教学方法以及学习借鉴外国教育思想等都有现实意义。Li Lianfang is an outstanding modern educationist and an expert in primary school Chinese education. He suggests that we should combine the teaching of Chinese culture and general knowledge by putting them together in the part of activities after units in the textbook and free reading. In terms of primary school textbook, he believes that textbook decides teaching method. Therefore, textbook should be composed based on learning psychology. Li Lianfang suggests that we should write more books for children. He thinks that children should learn Chinese characters in real situations, and obey the learning order of meaning, pattern and pronunciation. Li Lianfang's primarY school Chinese education thoughts have significance for today's class setting and teaching method reform.
