摘　　要：老年抑郁症严重威胁着老年人的身心健康,影响老年人的生活质量,是老年人最常见的一种心理疾病,成为当前迫切需要研究的重大课题。本文分析老年抑郁症的表现、诊断和危害加以陈述,探讨其发病机制进行剖析,并提出有针对性的采取及时、适当、有效的心理干预治疗措施。As one of the aging countries, China cares more on elderly people in terms of their physical and mental health. However, depression in the old age seriously threatens elderly people＇ s physical and mental health, and thus affects their living quality. Depression, the most common psy- chological illness of the elderly, is currently an important issue in urgent need of research. This pa- per describes the symptoms of depression in old age, its diagnosis and its harm to elderly people, an- alyses its pathogenesis, and provides timely, appropriate and effective psychological intervention in order to help in the prevention and cure of depression in old age as well as improve the level of eld- erly people＇ s physical and mental health.
