摘　　要：英汉语中都有着丰富的动物习语。通过对两种语言中十二生肖动物习语语义的比较,揭示出中西文化的异同,以便我们在恰当的语境中准确使用这些习语,避免产生歧义和误解,有利于顺利进行跨文化交流。There are a lot of idioms about animals in English and Chinese. The semantic comparison about Chinese Zodiac in the two languages can tell the cultural differences and similarities so that we can use the idioms properly, avoiding ambiguity and misunderstanding and make intercultural communication successfully.
