《武当山导游词》若干英译的商榷

摘　　要：以《武当山导游词》为例,指出文中的错误大体可分为三类:第一类是由于粗心或英语基本功不过关而导致的错误,如印刷错误,用词不当,语法错误;第二类是由于不了解当地文化或约定俗成的说法而导致的失误,如三清;第三类是缺乏跨文化意识,没有掌握景点资料翻译的方法或者技巧而导致的错误,如化繁为简、类比或增译等旅游资料的翻译方法。This paper points out the three types of mistakes in the book: First,the grammar mistakes and the mistakes made because of carelessness,such as misprints and improper use of words.Second,the mistakes caused by ignorance of the local culture and the established popular translated names,such as 'the Three Pure Ones'.Third,the mistakes caused by a lack of cross-cultural awareness and the knowledge of translating methods of the information on scenic spots,such as simplification,analogy and amplification.
