摘　　要：党的十八大全面论述了生态文明建设,要求把生态文明建设融入经济、政治、文化、社会建设的各个方面和全过程中。强调生态文明建设是形势所需、人民所愿,并且关系到中华民族的永续发展。报告特别强调了生态文明的宣传教育。学校是进行生态文明教育的重要场所,对学校生态文明教育必要性进行探究十分重要。At 18th CPC National Congress, Hu Jintao speaks of promoting ecological progress in his report and requests that it should be incorporated into all aspects and the whole process of advancing economic, political, cultural, and social progress. He considers it as the needs of the situation and the wishes of the people, which will influence the sustainable development of China. In the report, he especially emphasizes that we should increase publicity of and education in ecological progress. Schools are very important places where education in ecological progress is carried out. Our research is just on the need for school education in ecological progress.
