英语调核的语用功能及其语音实现

摘　　要：语调是人们信息交流的必不可少的部分,调核是调群最为重要的一个部分,其位置的不同反映了说话人要表达的感情和意图的不同。在语用学角度上,调核具有对比强调等语用功能。在声学方面,调核具有时长更长,音强响度更大以及音高线起伏更明显等特点。目前在教学上结合实验语音学的相关研究手段,利用Praat软件对话语进行标注,对调核的语音表现加以分析,是研究英语调核的语用功能及其语音实现的一条有效途径。Intonation is the essential part of the communication among people while nucleus is the most important part of the intonation.The differences of nucleus＇ position can reflect the differences of the emotion and intention the speaker want to express. On the aspect of pragmatics, nucleus has the pragmatic functions of contrast and emphasis. On the aspect of acoustics, nucleus has the features of longer duration, greater intensity, and more visible variation in pitch ups and downs, etc.
