摘 要:抗战时期,国民政府依托"新县制"实施契机,将失学民众补习教育上升至国民教育两大支柱之一,并随着乡镇中心学校、保国民学校的普设,在国统区各省以行政强制力推行。虽然由于诸多不利因素,失学民众脱盲成效有限,但其广泛推行对宣传爱国精神、激发民众民族意识做出了贡献。During the Anti -Japanese War, the Nationalist Government raised the Adult Illiterate Education to one of the two pillars of the National Education with the implementation of the "New County System". The A- dult Illiterate Education had been forced in the Kuomintang (KMT) occupied areas through the widely established primary schools of villages and national schools. Although this education gained limited achievements in eliminating illiteracy due to the many negative factors, it had made contributions in arousing the common peo-pleg patriotic sentiment.
