摘　　要：在中国由近代向现代的历史转折中,蔡元培为推进我国的美学和美育的发展尤其是美育事业,着力最多,影响最广,作用最大。他特别重视把美学教育和美感教育结合起来,创建了自成特色的美育学说。蔡元培的美育精神在新时代应该发扬。它启发我们进一步深思美育的使命,推进美育的实施,拓展美育的途径。In the historical turn from modern times to present day, Cai Yuanpei has made greatest contribution to pro- moting national aesthetics and aesthetic education. Paying a special attention to the fusing together aesthetic education and aesthetic perception education, he established a characteristic discourse upon aesthetic education. We should car- ry forward Mr. Caig aesthetic thoughts so as to further develop our aesthetic education cause.
