摘　　要：目的　探索中药减少菌斑的作用及寻找一个合适的用药方法。方法　本文研究了 12 0例牙龈炎、牙周炎患者咀嚼中药黄芩前后牙周指数的变化情况。结果　咀嚼不含黄芩的口胶就可降低牙周指数 ,而在口胶中加入黄芩后再让患者咀嚼 ,其降低牙周指数的作用更为明显。当口胶中黄芩的含量为 0 .3%时 ,效果最佳。结论　黄芩可作为口胶中的药物充分发挥其抗菌。Objective To investigate the effect of traditional chinese herb reducing dental plaque and to find a good administrating way.Methods The change of periodontal index before and after chewing gum containing scutellaria root among 120 patients with gingivitis and periodontitis have been studied in this paper.Results The result showed that there was a descent of periodontal index when patients chewed the gum containing no scutellaria root.But there was a bigger descent of periodontal index when patients chewed the gum containing scutellaria root.When the concentration of scutellaria root was 0.3% ,the effect was best.Conclusion Scutellaria root could be used as drug composition in gum to kill bacterium and to relieve inflammation.
