摘　　要：通过采访留美专家学者和查阅文献,运用比较研究方法对中美军事院校体育教育思想、体育教学、课余体育和体育竞赛等方面进行比较研究,对于了解美军院校体育教育在人才培养中作用非常有益。通过分析美军院校体育教育特色,借鉴并学习他们在体育教育方面的成功经验,以推动我军院校体育教育体系的建设和发展,深化我军院校军体课程教学改革。To assess the differences of physical education between Sino US military academies, we conducted a com parative study to as.seas the mission, curriculum, policies of physical education and the programs of recreational activi ty and athletic competition. Through analyzing the features and successful experience of physical education in US military academies, we may improve and form a new system of physical education, as well as deepen the reform of military physical education in China military academies.
