摘　　要：知识的养成是人类知识的吸收和创新过程,图书馆员的知识养成是学习吸取先进的科学知识,并结合自身的工作,根据自身的兴趣、爱好创造出新知识,并且服务于图书馆读者的过程,知识的养成在馆员的职业生涯中起重要作用,这就是知识养成的价值所在,使命感、责任感是知识养成的原动力。知识养成与管理者有直接的关系,个人的知识养成与知识养成的提升能为职业生涯划上圆满的句号。Knowledge Development is an absorbing and creative process of human knowledge. The knowledge development of librarian is a process of absorbing advanced scientific knowledge and creating new knowledge according to one＇s own career, interest and serving the readers of library. The knowledge development plays an important role in the career of librarian, and this is the value of knowledge development. The sense of mission and responsibility are the original motivation of knowledge development. The knowledge development and improvement of individuals can make their career successfully.
