摘　　要："全球公民教育"是近几年各国公民教育中备受关注的话题,也是全球化时代公民教育理论无法回避的研究领域。本文关注韩国中小学教育中"全球公民教育"的实施背景、发展过程、内容体系和特征,探讨韩国"全球公民教育"的本质,并分析它与"合格国民教育"之间的张力。Global citizenship education is a hot topic in the citizenship education practices in all nations, and an unavoidable research field in the theoretical studies on citizenship education in this global era. This article reviews the social background and structure of contents in the global citizenship education delivered in elementary schools and high schools in South Korea. Based on the review, it discusses the essence of the global citizenship education and its tension with ＂qualified citizen＂.
