摘 要:目的了解精神分裂症患者槟榔相关知识与态度,为采取针对性措施提供依据。方法 2010年12月~2011年10月,采用方便抽样法对250例住院的精神分裂症患者进行槟榔相关知识与态度调查。结果不足3%的精神分裂症患者接触过有关避免嚼食槟榔的知识或活动,患者对槟榔相关知识的知晓率不足20%,多数患者在对待嚼食槟榔的态度上保持中立。在社交场合,精神分裂症患者基本能够做到拒绝槟榔社交。结论在槟榔使用地区积极开展防止嚼食槟榔的一级预防工作,努力改善患者对槟榔相关知识的知晓率,是减少患者嚼食槟榔行为的重要途径。OBJECTIVE Knowledge and attitude towards betel nut consumption among schizophrenia patients were studied to provide a reference for possible preventive measures against betel nut chewing habits. METHODS Between December of 2010 and October of 2011, 250 schizophrenia patients were selected through convenience sampling and surveyed on their knowledge and attitude towards betel nut consumption. RESULTS Less than 3% of the surveyed schizophrenia patients have learned about knowledge or participated in activities related to the prevention of betel nut chewing. Awareness rate among the patients on betel nut-related knowledge was lower than 20%. Most of the surveyed patients remained neutral on the attitude towards betel nut chewing. In general, schizophrenia patients would know to refuse accepting betel nuts during social activities. CONCLUSION Actively developing first-line preventive activities against betel nut chewing in high betel nut consumption areas and improving the awareness rate of schizophrenia patients on betel nut-related knowledge are the critical measures for the reduction of betel nut consumption.
