摘　　要：推进社会主义新农村建设,根本举措是提高农民素质。农民继续教育是提高农民素质的重要环节,是社会主义新农村建设的重要内容,也是在"三农"问题上贯彻和落实科学发展观的本质体现。该文在分析农民继续教育现实意义的基础上,探讨了我国现阶段农民继续教育过程中面临的困境及解决对策。Advancing the socialism new rural construction, the fundamental measure is to improve the peasants＇ quality. Peasants＇ continuing education is the important link of improving the quality of peasants, an important content of socialism new rural construction, and it is also the essence of implementing the scientific outlook on development about the problem of ＂agriculture, rural areas and farmers＂. Based on the analysis of practical significance of peasants＇ continuing education, discussing the difficulties and countermeasures in the process of peasants＇ continuing education at the present stage in China.
