摘　　要：旅游英语是一门实用性很强的课程,由于旅游行业的涉外性质,高职旅游英语教学的效果对旅游专业的学生来说显得尤为重要。该门课程的任课教师要在吃透教学大纲以及教材的基础上,既要了解学生的学情,又要把握将来学生就业的需要,做到因人施教。Tourism English is a very practical course. Because of the foreign nature of the tourism industry, tourism English teach- ing in higher vocational school has an important effect on tourism professional students. First the teachers should thoroughly un- derstand the teaching materials and the syllabus, then understand not only the students＇ learning situation, but also grasp the needs of the future student employment, so they should give individual- ized education.
