严复解释传统哲学的科学主义倾向

摘　　要：严复在解释中国传统哲学实践中,表现出浓厚且鲜明的科学主义倾向。严复解释的科学主义倾向,对中国传统哲学中科学哲学资源的发掘具有积极意义,但另一方面却误读了中国传统哲学中的许多观念、命题和范畴。因此,严复对中国传统哲学的解释是一把双刃剑,这对于当今处理中国哲学与西方哲学的关系,是有直接启发的。Yan Fu performed strong and distinct scientific tendency when interpreting Chinese traditional philosophy. Yan Fu＇s scientific tendency of his interpretation, on the one hand, plays a positive role for exploration of Scientific philosophical resources within the range of Chinese traditional philosophy. On the other hand, however, it misreads many Chinese traditional philosophical ideas, propositions and categories. Therefore, Yan Fu＇s interpretation of Chinese traditional philosophy is a double-edged sword, which can enlighten us directly for dealing with the relationship between Chinese philosophy and Western philosophy.
