摘　　要：《高级英语》是高等院校英语专业高年级的主干课程,为了实现《大纲》的要求,教师应从篇章的结构特点、语言技巧和修辞手段等修辞学角度引导学生赏析课文,从而提高学生语篇的分析鉴赏能力。Advanced English is one of the chief subjects of English major in the colleges and universities. For the purpose of meeting the requirements of Syllabus of the Institutions of Higher Learning, the teacher must guide the students to appreciate the text to improve the students＇ appreciative ability from the angle of rhetoric such as structure features of the text, language skill and English rhetoric.
