摘　　要：二十世纪美国著名诗人罗伯特·弗洛斯特一生收获了他人难以超越的荣誉,也经历了他人难以想象的人生磨难。《家庭墓地》从某种程度上就是他个人家庭生活的一个真实写照。本文通过对《家庭墓地》人物的语言、动作以及意象的分析,深刻揭示了一个痛失孩子母亲的绝望与抗争的心路历程。Robert Frost, a twenty-century American poet, has achieved more reputation than any oth- ers to surmount and has undergone more family experiences than any others to imagine. Home Burial is, to some extent, a vivid demonstration of his family life. Based on the analysis of the characters＇ language, movement and images, this paper exposes the desperation and mental struggle of a mother who has just lost her only baby.
