摘　　要：本文从词源学和哲学的视角,首先分析引证了"gemein"为什么除了"共同的"这一义项外还会表示"粗俗的""卑鄙的",阐述了没有个性和粗俗、卑鄙的关系,力图借助词源学的方法揭示"杰出"即意味着游走于规范的边界并对其发起挑战,而真正的天才总是可能冒着被时代误解风险的观点。From etymological and philosophical perspectives, the article firstly analyzes and cites the reasons why ＂gemein＂ means ＂coarse＂ and ＂shameless＂ in addition to the meaning of ＂common＂. Then it expounds the relationship between the lack of personality and shamelessness. With the help of etymology, the article seeks to reveal that ＂excellence＂ means challenging the normative role of the border and playing with it, and real genius is likely to be misunderstood by his times.
