摘 要:六祖惠能在岭南弘传南宗禅法著名以后,唐朝皇帝一再诏请他到京城施化,惠能"竟不奉诏"。自从胡适对此史实进行证伪之后,杜继文等也认为朝廷征召惠能及诏书都可能是假的。这些史实的真伪已经有杨曾文等学者通过研究进行了考实。为了论析惠能"竟不奉诏"的相关问题,有必要再次梳理这一考证史实,才可以对惠能"竟不奉诏"的主要原因作进一步较为深入的探讨。由于朝廷征召并非一次,惠能"竟不奉诏"仅用一个以老疾相辞的理由是说服不了的,这也不是惠能不奉诏的真正原因。他坚决继承禅宗祖师不奉诏、不当国师的传统,具有"吾形不扬,北土之人见斯短陋,或不重法"的顾虑,又要遵守"先师记,吾以岭南有缘,且不可违也"的弘法原则,还要接地气,保持南禅宗的农民性和地方性,是"竟不奉诏"真正原因。When the Six Patriarchs HuiNeng became famous because of his promoting the Southern Zen in Lingnan, the emperor of Tang asked him again and again to propagate dharma in the capital, but HuiNeng disobey the emperor. Since the history was falsificated by HuShi, Du Jiwen also believes the story and the imperial edict was likely to be false. This historical evidence's authenticity has been confirmed by some scholars such as Yang Zengwen. In order to study on the problems of Hui Neng's disobedience, we have to consider this historical textual research once again, and do further in-depth discussion on the main reasons. Because the royal called him more than once, it could not be the only reason that his poor physical condition and age, and that were not the real reason. In fact, the real reasons include three aspects: first, he inherited the tradition that Zen patriarch left 'did not accept the summon and be national Grand Master'; second, he thought that 'I have no good appearance, and the northern people who saw me shot and ugly will despise the Dharma', and also he obey the rules 'your destiny is associated with Lingnan and don't leave her' that his master put forward; the last, he also wanted to keen the peasant and local nature of the South Zen.local
