摘  要:回溯了中国城市规划专业高等教育近百年来的发展历程。基于对各院校史、主管部门统计数据、人物访谈、档案研究和既有文献的收集整理等基础工作,对全国院校规划办学的规模变化、学科发展、教学内容改革等方面做了综述,试图勾勒出中国规划教育较为完整的发展路径;在此基础上形成了对规划教育发展的若干思考。中国规划教育起源于土木工程与建筑,尽管在后来的发展中渐趋多元,但始终强调物质空间环境规划的技术性,具有较强的职业教育色彩,教育与行业发展和实践紧密结合,同时也存在着基础理论教育不足和同质性过强的弊端。面对已经发生的重大城乡社会转型,中国规划教育需要更加严肃地自我审视和适时转变,尤其需要提高大量新设规划专业的教育质量。Based on the archival research, interviews, literature review, and statistical data, thie paper is the first attempt to provide a holistic picture on the history of China's professional urban planning education, presenting its beginning, downturn, and heydays. Both the quantitative and qualitative development is recorded in the paper and the challenges faced by Chinese planning schools are discussed. The planning education in China is above all a physical and technical professional training, with its origins in the civil engineering and architecture schools and from a highly organized and relatively homogenous profession. The system has been either based on the planned economy or later served the course of fast growing Chinese cities, which now is under the great challenge of a more and more market-driven economy and a rising civil society whose physical environment is entering the maturing stage and where the largescale construction will not sustain any longer.
