Toxicological study of Momordica Charantia L. and Folium Mori Mixture

摘  要:目的对苦瓜桑叶合剂食用安全性进行了评价。方法对苦瓜桑叶合剂进行小鼠急性毒性试验(最大耐受量法)、遗传毒性试验和亚急性毒性试验。结果苦瓜,桑叶等中药合剂对两种性别的SPF级昆明种小鼠急性经口毒性试验为无毒级。遗传毒性试验(小鼠骨髓细胞微核试验和精子畸形试验)结果均为阴性。亚急性毒性试验分别按0.50%、1.00%、2.00%掺入饲料中(分别相当于人群推荐日摄入量的25、50、100倍),对SPF级Wistar大鼠连续经口给予30 d,动物未见明显的中毒症状和死亡,各剂量组大鼠体重、进食量、食物利用率、血象、血液生化、脏器重量、脏/体比值以及病理组织学等指标与阴性对照组比较,均无显著性差异。结论未发现苦瓜、桑叶合剂有明显的毒性作用。Objective Toxicity tests of Momordica Charantia L. and Folium Mori Mixture were conducted. Methods The safety of Momordica Charantia L. and Folium Mori Mixture was evaluated systematically by a series of acute, mutagenic and sub-chronic toxicological tests. Results The acute toxicity test showed that the oral maximum tolerated dose of Momordica Charantia L. and Folium Mori Mixture was more than 20. 0 g/kg body weight in mice. No mutagenicity was found,as judged by mouse bone marrow cell micronucleus test and mouse sperm abnormality test. In the subchronic study, no deaths or clinical signs, or abnormal hematological, clinical, chemical and histopathological changes had been found in rats after being treated using 25,50,100 times as recommended dosage for adult for 30 days. Conclusions The results indicated that no significant toxicological effect was found using Momordica Charantia L. and Folium Mori Mixture.
