摘 要:目的 探讨β连接素(β-catenin)在乳腺癌组织中的表达与患者的临床病理特征及预后的关系.方法 收集中山大学孙逸仙纪念医院乳腺肿瘤医学部在2002年1月至2007年1月间手术切除的95例乳腺浸润性导管癌制作石蜡切片.采用免疫组织化学技术检测上述组织中的β-catenin的表达,分析其与患者的临床病理特征及预后的相关性.结果 在检测的95例乳腺癌组织中,65例乳腺癌细胞胞膜上有β-catenin阳性表达,30例乳腺癌细胞胞膜上β-catenin表达缺失.β-catenin表达缺失与淋巴结转移、肿瘤病理分级及远处转移相关(P<0.05).Cox多因素分析显示β-catenin表达是预测乳腺癌患者长期生存率的独立预后因素.结论 β-catenin可能参与乳腺癌的上皮细胞间质转化和转移,有望成为预测乳腺癌预后的指标.Objective To investigate the expression of β-catenin in breast cancer tissue and its association with clinicopathological features and long-term prognosis of patients.Methods We collected 95 breast infiltrating ductal carcinoma tissues,the expression of β-catenin was assessed by immunohistochemistry.The clinicopathological variables and long-term survival were acquired by follow up and their correlation with β-catenin was analyzed.Results β-catenin expression was observed in 60 patients and absent in 35 patients.The absence of β-catenin expression was correlated with high pathological grade,lymph node and distant metastasis (P < 0.05).Cox regression multivariable analysis showed that the absence of β-catenin expression was associated with poor long-term disease free survival as an independent prognosis factor.Conclusion β-catenin expression may be associated with epithelial-mesenchymal transition and metastasis of breast cancer cells.β-catenin expression may serve as a new marker of breast cancer diagnosis in the future.
