摘 要:语块指由两个或多个词组成的词汇,区分语言能力高低的关键因素之一就是语言学习者掌握和运用语块的能力。语言学习者因缺少在真实语境中与说本族语的人沟通的机会,在学习和使用语块时有较大的困难,所以出现了各种语块搭配错误。文章基于美国著名电视访谈节目Dr.Phil建立了230多万字的口语语料库,从中提取出了235个语块,把出现频率较高的80个语块做为学生测试的内容,在此基础上分析学生出现语块搭配错误的种类和原因,并提供了一些教学启示。Lexical chunks are vocabulary units made of two or more words. One of the factors that deter- mines language proficiency is the learners' ability to master the use of lexical chunks. Given the limited ac- cess to communication with native speakers in authentic language environment, language leaners find it diffi- cult to master lexical chunks and therefore make different kinds of mistakes . In this paper, a spoken English corpus with over 230 thousands tokens is constructed based on American TV talk show Dr. Phil, from which 235 lexical chunks are extracted and 80 frequently appeared chunks are used to test English learners' chunk usage. Various collocation mistakes made by English learners are analyzed and suggestions for teaching chunks are provided at the end of the paper.
