摘　　要：翻译对于推动人类社会的发展、变革具有巨大的力量。然而,无论从历史的事实着眼,还是从今天的现实观察,译者的隐身现象不可否认。而在国际化趋势不断迅猛推进的背景下,译者在翻译过程中的社会责任和其翻译作品所产生的社会价值却愈发凸显。The historical function of translation has inexhaustible power on the carrying-on of the development and transform of human society. However, the phenomena of translators＇ invisibility are undeniable, either viewed from the angle of historical facts or from today＇ s reality. Yet under the background of rapid and continu- ous globalization, translators＇ social responsibility embodied through the process of translating as well as the so- cial value produced by translation works are becoming more and more apparent .
