老药新用在新药研发中的意义

摘　　要：由于"老药"的药动学及安全性资料已知,其新用途的开发可以大大节约研发周期和成本,被认为是新药开发中最快捷、最有效的策略之一。本文综述老药新用在新药研发中的意义以及临床上颇具代表性药物(沙利度胺、红霉素、硝苯地平)的新用途开发。Based on known pharmacokinetics and safety profiles, repositioning the existing drugs for new indications can save costs and time in drug development. It is deemed to be one of the quickest and most effective strategies in the field of drug discovery. This review takes three representative drugs such as thalidomide, erythromycin, and nifedipine to summarize the significance of new indication for old drugs.
