摘　　要：探本寻源,中华文化传统中"诚"与"美"具有丰富的含义,并逐步提升到汉语辞章活动所要遵循的最高的言语规律——"诚美律"。从编审工作角度,理解运用诚美律主要体现在三个方面,即"诚"是对内容提出的要求,"美"是对辞章艺术的要求,"诚"、"美"并重是追求内容与形式的对立统一。Originally speaking, ＂integrity＂ and ＂beauty＂have profound implication in Chinese cultural tradition, and gradually refined as the top linguistic law, the law of integrity and beauty, which is followed by Chinese rhetoric. From the perspective of editing, the understanding and application of the Law can be embodied by three aspects： ＂integrity＂ stresses on the content, ＂beauty＂on the art of rhetoric, after putting them together, the content and form is integrated.
