论西方慈善文化中的理性精神

摘　　要：纵观西方文明史,理性精神贯穿始终,正是理性精神的指引,西方慈善文化得以不断发展。源自古希腊的理性精神与根植于基督教的西方慈善文化有着不解之缘。慈善是理性精神的转化和拯救,具有宗教关怀的西方慈善文化彰显了理性精神的人文价值,理性精神对于现代慈善具有积极意义和深远影响。The rational spirit has been existing in the western culture since it came into being. It＇s just under the guidance of the rational spirit that the western philanthropic culture developed continuously. The rational spirit originated from ancient Greece has close relationship with the western philanthropic culture rooted in Christianity. Philanthropy is conversion and salvation of the rational spirit,so the western philanthropic culture that is typical of a religious concern has revealed the humane value implied in the rational spirit which has a great impact on modern philanthropy.
