认知语法框架下英语形一名结构的语法转喻关系研究——以“red pencil”和“fake gun”为例

摘　　要：本文在认知语法框架下探讨英语形一名结构的语法表现形式和概念结构之间的关系。通过对个案“redpencil”和“fakegun”中名词的物性结构组成、形容词与名词之间的相互影响及形名结构的认知参照过程分析得出，英语形一名结构中存在语法转喻关系，一次性或多次性的认知参照过程是形容词和名词之间形成这种语法转喻关系的概念基础。这足以解释部分形一名结构多义性产生的根本原因，有助于帮助学习者理解英语形一名结构的意义建构。This paper investigates the relationship between linguistic expression and its concept in English ＂Adjective＋Noun＂ construction from the perspective of cognitive grammar. Through the analysis of Qualia Structure of nouns, the coeffects between nouns and adjectives and the analysis of the referential processing within ＂Adjective＋Noun＂ constructions of ＂red pencil＂ and ＂fake gtm＂ , metonymy in grammar in Adj ective＋Noun construction is elaborated, whose concept is based on a single- or multiple- referential processings. The referential process explanation to the grammatical metonymy in A-N construction can absolutely clarify the root cause of polysemy and is helpful for English learners to have a better understanding ofthe ＂Adjective＋Noun＂ construction in meaning.
