摘　　要：本研究以2008-2010年中国高校自杀数据为基础,得出了关于中国大学生自杀现象的一些规律性结论。研究发现,中国大学生自杀率低于社会同龄人口自杀率,低于美国大学生自杀率,也低于世界人口自杀率。中国大学生自杀率较低的重要原因在于我国高校建立了较为成熟的心理危机应对工作机制。The study was conducted to understand the suicide phenomenon in Chinese colleges, based on statistical data of Chinese college students who committed suicide between 2008 and 2010. The study found that, for every 100,000 college students in China, an average of 1.24 committed suicide annually. The rate was much lower than that of the same age population in China, than that of college students in the United States, and than the average world suicide rate. The main reason for the lower suicide rate among Chinese college students lies in the management characteristics of Chinese colleges.
