摘　　要：新建本科院校是我国高等教育发展的重要力量,有着特色发展的内在需求,但其特色发展存在现实困境。区域社会经济文化发展是新建本科院校特色发展的依据,新建本科院校要依据地方经济发展的优势项目确立学科、专业特色,要从产业发展前景中,积极拓展学校专业;要在校地互动中创新人才培养模式,促进科研转化;在与地方文化互动中培育高校特色。Newly established undergraduate colleges and universities are an important force in the development of higher education in China, and there is an inherent demand for a characteristic development. However, there exist some realistic difficulties in their characteristic development. Regional social economic and cultural development is the basis for the characteristic development of newly established undergraduate colleges and universities. Disci plines and professional characteristics should be established on the basis of advantageous projects of local econom ic development. College professionals should be actively expanded with the prospects of industry development. Be sides, university characteristics should be cultivated in interaction with local culture.
