摘　　要：在人际交往过程中,称赞言语行为作为一种重要的礼貌现象起着保持和谐人际关系的作用。本文试图通过对中英称赞语行为的国内外研究现状与趋势进行分析,探讨称赞言语行为在中英文化中的重要性。Compliment is an important politeness phenomenon.This study attempts to analyze the current and future research situation of compliment speech act in Chinese and English languages at home and abroad. On basis of this, the importance of compliment act in both Chinese and English cultures are further explored.
