摘　　要：随着语言学研究的日益发展,作为语用学一个重要分支的礼貌用语的研究也得到了越来越多的重视。礼貌是世界各民族所共有的一种社会现象。本文通过对英、汉日常礼貌用语进行详细的对比分析,揭示了不同的社会文化对礼貌用语的影响。在外语教学中,教师如果能充分运用礼貌用语研究的成果,则有利于帮助学生更透彻地掌握英语语言,培养既有专业知识,又有跨文化交际能力的复合型人才。With the development of linguistic studies, research of polite dictions, as an important branch of pragmatics, also got more and more attention. Politeness is a kind of social phenomenon shared by the world＇s nation. This article reveals the impact of the different social cultures on polite dictions based on the comparative analysis of daily English and Chinese polite dictions in detail. In foreign language teaching, teacher＇s full use of the result of polite dictions research can help students master the English language more thoroughly, cultivate compound talents with both professional knowledge and cross-cultural communicative ability.
