摘　　要：课程是学校为实现培养目标而选择的教育内容及其进程的总和,是教育的核心之一,课程设计理应得到相应的重视。通过对江苏省14所高校的英语课程设计进行的调查研究发现,大部分高校都认识到了课程设计的重要性,但认识程度不同,这种认识程度的差异在教学工作实践中有所体现。调查还发现各高校对课程设计的重视程度与其对课程设计的满意程度并不成正比。这表明,我国课程设计的理论和实践研究目前都还很欠缺,各高校在自我摸索的情况下对课程设计工作常缺乏正确的思路,存在盲目现象。课程设计的探索之路需要多方的共同努力。Curriculum is the summary of the education contents and the process to achieve training objec- tives. It plays a core role in education and deserves due attention. According to the survey on curriculum design of English course in 14 Jiangsu colleges, this paper points out that most colleges are aware of the importance of curriculum design, but they show difference in recognition degrees which are reflected in teaching practice. A noticeable finding is that the colleges with higher recognition degrees don＇t necessarily harvest higher satisfaction levels. It reveals that currently there is a lack of both theoretical and practical research in this field; hence colleges cannot obtain effective and efficient guidance in practice. The explora- tion of curriculum design need joint efforts.
