“体育科学论文摘要英汉双语语料库”的开发及应用研究

摘　　要：通过问卷调查发现国内学者向国际主流期刊和学术会议投稿时大多会面临英文摘要写作或翻译问题,因此,建设研制体育科学论文摘要英汉双语语料库十分必要。研究选取运动医学为主要学科,采集6种国际期刊和九种国内核心期刊2010—2012年的摘要,并将1 222篇英文摘要译成汉语,借助PowerGREP和EditpadPro软件对文本进行修正审核、对齐,建成100多万字库容的语料库。研究认为,体育科学论文摘要英汉双语语料库对于帮助国内体育科研工作者参与国际学术交流具有重要意义。它可以提供术语及常用词簇检索,支持待译文本中的术语自动识别及翻译提示,在体育科学论文摘要翻译与写作、语言教学、语言对比研究等方面有较强的应用价值,更可以为体育科学相关教学与科研工作提供强大的技术支持。Questionnaire results showed that Chinese PE teachers and sport science researchers have difficuhy in writing English abstracts and/or translating Chinese abstracts into English. Therefore, it is necessary and signifi- cant in establishing bilingual corpora of abstracts in sports science journals. We gathered the English abstracts from 6 international journals and both English and Chinese abstracts from 9 national journals in the field of sports medicine, and translated 1 222 English abstracts into Chinese. Using the software like PowerGREP and Editpad- Pro, we established corpora of one millions words. The bilingual corpora of abstracts in sports science journals can facilitate inteI^aational communication for teachers and researchers by providing a search tool for sports-related terms or word clusters, and offering translation tips and term suggestions. It is our hope the corpora will be helpful in abstract writing and translation, language teaching and contrastive study of language, providing strong technical support for teachers and researchers in the sports field.
